English Language Challenges

Hello my friends, today i write my last blog of this semester, maybe this blog will be the last of my university life.

Write this blog was a good experience, I learned many new things about the English, new words, expressions that are very useful in the daily life, also reviewed old knowledge, the verbs, the times and basic anything, but important.  If I am sincere this semester was very short, the time passes so fast, I can remember was yesterday when I started to write the blogs.

Well, English is a very important tool today, is necessary that the persons have the basic knowledge and besides is normal find the English in our life ( in movies, songs, instructions, etc.). In my case the English is very important tool,  because many  information are write  en English, then is necessary that I have a knowledge about this language , also is important because not only do I need  receive information, if not also submit the information , and is normal  that this process will be in English.

Nowadays, I know that I need much time for become expert in this language, but I consider that I had an important progress in my knowledge and abilities since I started in the English in my first semester of the university, also know that my way do not end in this point, is probably that in the future keep learning new things about English, and myself, I can help me, for example with classes of English or trying of read text en English, and other similar things.

My career in the future.....

Hello my friends today i will talk about a very difficult topic “some changes that could be made to my study program (career)….

Well to start I will say that my career has a very good program, this program has everything you need to you will be a good professional, my study program has for example many class of  everything  that  has relation with my career ( pharmacy) , I have class of Math, chemistry, Biology, etc. Also I have many labs, I have minimum one lab for semester (for example labs of analytic chemistry, organic chemistry, instrumental chemistry).

In the future I think that the study program of my career will have important changes, because in the science area, always are born new methods in the labs or new machines or instruments and is very important that this new knowledge is will learn by the future professionals, also I think for this reason that the labs of my faculty will have improve and adapting to the new technologies.

Besides, we all know that everything changes, for example education methods, maybe in the future will not exist the classes and you will learn by others forms like the computers, other example are the needs of your time, because are the needs of our time that make up the study program of our careers, the most probably is that in the future the professionals will educate for the needs of their time.

Finally, I want say that the most probably in the future is that exists many machine that facilitate my work, but also this machines will reduce  the necessary  professionals .

My opinion....

Hello my friends today i will talk about many interesting topics tell you what I think about this topic…..

   1) What was your opinion about the legalization of aborting in the 3 cases?

Well, I am a great defender about of this thought; honestly it is a very delicate topic, but is undeniable that it a contingent issue, although I do not support free abortion, if I think abortion in the three cases is a fair measure.

  2) What was your opinion about the legalizing marijuana and other drugs?

My opinion about this topic   is basically that I consider that is a bad idea, because the people do not know how control or give good use to substances whit effect in the organism, enough we have whit alcohol and cigarettes.

3  3) What was your opinion about the climate change?

The climate change is a very contingent issue today, I consider that is very important issue, because the world is only one and we must take care, the world is our home  and we should  not allow  ourselves  harm it,  so that we must try to reduce as possible  the contamination.

4)What was your opinion about having an exotic pet at home?

My opinion about this issue is simple is not correct have exotic animals in our houses, the reason is obviously that the exotic animals do not belong to this places and taking the animal out   of this habitat  is damage to the animal.

From cartoons, animes to TV series....

Hello my friends today i will talk you about comics, cartoons, anime or manga, is a topic very interesting because i think that I am a fanatic of some anime series, for example  full metal alchemist or  assassination classroom.

Although I like some series I do not consider myself a big fan of the anime, but I like to see some anime series, is not that a big fan of them ,  but I must admit  that  some series if I caught whit their  stories  and themes.

If I had to choose a series to highlight must be “full metal alchemist”, this was the first series that I could watch completely, the series is about two brothers, who lost their mother and tried to bring her back to life through the use of the alchemy, but they did not know the high cost that should pay and   the series revolves around which they want to recovered lost…

I like the series like a form of pass the time, but they are not a relevant part of mi life, the same goes for example whit the manga or comics, never in my life I read a comic or manga, I prefer the animated series, the reason is simple I am very lazy and why read it? , If I can see it.

 Whit my family are not the type that sits to see television, but the few time we have done remember that we always fight for what we want   to see and end up watching a random movie, so it is not  that we see  a specific series.

Post graduate studies....

Hello my friends today i will talk you about what would be the postgraduate that I would I like to follow, once i have graduated.

Once I will graduates my career I would like to go out into the working world, work a time gain new experience and knowledge, but I would like to return after  a while  to study,  too learn  new things  and expand my knowledge in the area  that I like it. One of the reasons I would do a postgraduate is that I think that learning new things always is good, more in the area that I would like to specialize that is the area of clinical pharmacy.

If i will have to do a postgraduate (PhD)  I would like  to be in the areas of pharmacology or clinical pharmacy , the reason is simple these two areas  are the most interesting to me within the multiples areas of my career , i can say that i have  a special  attraction  for these two areas.

As far as the place do not know where i would like to do the postgraduate, but I think I would in the university where I am forming or can be abroad,  I think that will see  once time passes.  That if I would love to be classes, but not take much time, since I would like to work and study in parallel.

My future job ....

Hello my friends today i will take you about my future job, i am student of the pharmacy of the university of Chile and therefore in the future i will be pharmacist.

 I have always i wanted to work in the field of hospital pharmacy or clinic, because i think that i can help people directly , i love it. i would not like to work in for example in a chain pharmacy, because in this place the pharmacist does not a lot of things, i think that would be very boring and disappointing.

i have always imagined that i will  be in a hospital, helping  the  patients who most require it, like those of  U.S.I  or oncology.  fulfilling my goal of entering a hospital is what matters most to me,  i am not very interesting in the money i will  earn ,  or where i will work, as soon as i can help the patients who require it.

Another of my dreams would be in the future  to achieve  a doctor  degree  in pharmacology,  all this in order to be able to give the best attention to people in need. for which i need to be the most complete professional possible.

From the invisible to the visible world and back...

Hello my friends, today i will talk about the micro o nano world, is a very difficult topic  for me, because i don't have many knowledge  about this topic.I try of  explain the technique "UPLC"( ultra high performance liquid chromatography), well  "ULPC"  is a technique that comes of "HPLC"(high performance liquid chromatography) , both are chromatography techniques, the chromatography is a technique of compound separating and this is carried about  product of the interaction  of the different molecules with the two phases  that make up   the chromatography column (stationary phase and mobile phase), this technique have many variants depending on the type of stationary phase of molecule to study, but in all cases the process is simple  we have a column and by it moves a liquid  to carry or sample, which separated from the burials.

the different between "HPLC" and "UPLC", is the size of the particles that compose the stationary phase, going from 9-7 µm ( in "HPLC") to 1,5-0,8 µm ( in "ULPC"), this littles different in the size of the particles produce a big change in process efficiency  and in the time of the  chromatography, and this changes are good for the investigation work.in my career the "ULPC" ( and the "HPLC") are very used in process of  search of compounds in low concentrations, for example toxic compounds, also we can used it to know the concentration of this compound, ( for example a drug). 

this new system of  chromatography have many potential for the future, being able to improve the processes, for example time  work or efficiency of the processes
